Mr.Dhananjay K obtained his Masters in Economics from Mangalore University in the year 2005. He also completed his Master in Social Work from Mangalore University in 2007. In addition he has MBA and Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IGNOU. He cleared UGC NET (National Eligibility Test) for lectureship in four disciplines; Economics, Management, HRM and Social Work. Currently, he is pursuing his doctoral studies on the thesis titled “Stock Market, Corporate Finance and Economic Growth in India” at Centre for Economic Studies and Policy (CESP), Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC), Bangalore. He has been awarded with Dr. D.M.Nanjundappa Prize in Economics at ISEC for topping the Pre-Ph.D foundation Course.
Dhananjay K has over 10 years of experience in teaching, research and industry. He started his career at Ujjivan Financial service Pvt. Ltd., a leading Microfinance Company in Bangalore. He joined AIMIT, St. Aloysius (Autonomous) College in 2008 and served till 2013 as Lecturer and Asst.Professor. In 2013 he joined Centre for Economic Studies and Policy (CESP), Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC), Bangalore as full time Research Scholar. He rejoined AIMIT as Asst.Professor in 2015, the position he holds till date.
Currently, Dhananjay teaches courses such as Economics for Managers, Econometrics, International Economics, and Research Methodology.
He has presented papers in national and international conferences. He has more than dozen publications in national and international journals, the most recent being a paper on Non-Performing Assets and Its determinants- A Study of Public Sector Banks in India, Published by Journal of Social and Economic Development, Springer Publication.
