Dr. Sambatur Sridhar

Dr Sambatur Sridhar With an Engineering background and Doctorate in Business Management, Dr S. Sridhar worked in the mining industry for four years before switching over to academics. He taught B.Tech students in NITK., Surathkal for over 23 years. During his stint at NITK., he acquired M.Tech (Reliability Engg) from IIT., Kharagpur and PhD in Management from NITK., Surathkal. He handled management related courses for MCA, MBA and M.Tech (Construction Management) students. He shifted to AIMIT in the year 2009 as Dean (Academic). With the active involvement of AIMIT MBA team, he designed the choice-based curriculum and conducted workshop on Research Methodology.

During 2013-14, he handled courses for EPGDM at Nitte School of Management and PGPM (Business Analytics) at Manipal Global Education, Bangalore. He rejoined AIMIT team in January 2016.He has to his credit more than 20 publications in journals (national and international) and 10 in proceedings of conferences. His preferred areas of research: Emerging issues in HR and Sociology and inter-disciplinary areas.
