Dr. Rowena Wright

Dr. Rowena Wright completed her Masters in Commerce from St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous) Tiruchirappalli in 1993, with the First Rank and her M. Phil in 1997 with a distinction specializing in Marketing. She later completed her Doctorate in the broad area of Marketing from St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous) Tiruchirappalli in 2008 affiliated to Bharathidasan University, Tamil Nadu.She has also cleared the State Level Eligibility Test, U.G.C. accredited in the year 1997.

Dr. Wright has a total of 25 years of Teaching Experience and served as a lecturer in Holy Cross College, Tamil Nadu from 1993 – 2003. She has been teaching in the department of BBM from 2003 – 2009 at St. Aloysius College (Autonomous) Mangalore and has been lecturing in the Post Graduate Department of Management at AIMIT St. Aloysius College (Autonomous) from 2009 till date. She has been teaching subjects in the areas of Marketing and Accounting.

She has presented many papers at National and International Conferences and has won the Best Paper Award at Goa in 2013. She has published papers in Marketing and Finance, the most recent being on Brand switching in the Indian Journal of Management with an impact Factor of 4.525 and on MAFI [Marketing Accounting Finance Interface] Concept in the Aloysian Journal of Management and Research.

Dr. Wright has been the resource person for programmes on Personal Effectiveness; Leadership Skills and Research Methodology and has attended training programmes on Leadership at Bangalore. She has also completed a UGC sponsored Minor Research project of Rs.1,10,000 on Brand Switching in 2016, the results of which were published in the Indian Journal of Management.

She has been the Dean (Academics) at the Post Graduate Department of Business Administration at AIMIT, St. Aloysius College (Autonomous) since 2011 and is the Chairperson of the Board of Studies and Examination of the Department.
