Mrs. Suchetha Vijaya kumar

Mrs. Suchetha Vijay joined the department in the year 2007 as a Senior Lecturer and has a M.Sc degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications from Mangalore University. She has also completed her MTech(IT) from KSOU. She has vast experience in teaching Post Graduate and Post Graduate Diploma Students and handled subjects like Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Object Oriented Programming using C++ and Java, Software Engineering .

Mrs. Suchetha has also published six papers in National and International journals and has guided many students in their final year internship projects. She has served as external examiner/Counsellor for many academic institutions including IGNOU. She has attended various workshops related to information and communication technology organized by the academia and Industry collaboration such as Infosys Campus Connect, Manipal Innovation Center etc. She is heading the Special Interest Group Object Oriented Systems and guiding the students on several publications, paper presentations, projects in the domain; many consultancy projects are guided and few are in on. Strong recommender of Industry-Academia collaboration, motivating the students to take up the Industry Visits in Bangalore, Hydebad etc.,

She has handled various responsibilities in the college such as being Co-ordinator of Exam cell and Board of Examination, Board of Studies etc. She is the Coordinator for the IQAC of the School of Information Technology at AIMIT; Mrs. Suchetha has also been a Project Supervisor for a Project gramted by VGST, Govt. of Karnataka under SPICE-2014
