Dr. Santhosh B

Dr. Santhosh B joined St Aloysius College in June 2003. He holds MCA from Mangalore University, M.Phil from Allagappa University, Tamilnadu, MTech in IT from KSOU ,Mysore, and also Completed NET and SLET in Computer Science and Applications. He also received his Ph. D. in Computer Science from Mangalore University in 2017. He has been nominated as the member for the Board of studies of BCA, BSc of St Aloysius College & St Agnes College, Mangalore and also BOE member of Dept MCA, MSc (CS), MS in IS, Mangalore University , MCA and Msc (CS) of Kannur University.

He attended various seminars and workshops both at the national and international level and presented various papers. 40 + Papers Presented & Published in National / International Conferences and reputed journals. Edited a chapter “BigData: Processing of Data Intensive Applications on Cloud” in Computational Intelligence for Big Data Analysis ,March 2015, Springer publications. He is also Resource person, Key note speaker and moderator of several workshops and national conferences on cloud computing. He was the Convener for the International Conferences –SACAIM 2013, SACAIM 2017, Exam Coordinator for End-Semester University Examinations.

Dr. Santhosh B currently working as a Associate Professor in the Dept of MCA. His Research Interests are – Cloud Computing, Grid Computing, Np Complete , Np Hard Problems, information security in Bigdata analytics.
