Mr. S. Ruban

Mr. Ruban is working as an Asst professor and the coordinator of the PG department of software technology in St Aloysius College, Mangalore since 2008. He completed his Masters in Computer science from St. Joseph’s college, Trichy, Tamilnadu and M.Phil degree from Manonmaniam sundaranar university, Tamilnadu. Besides these he also holds a MBA degree in Systems and MHRM degree in Human Resource.

He has a total PG Teaching Experience of more than 16 years to his credit and has published 8 papers in Scopus indexed International journals, 20 papers in International peer reviewed journals, 15 papers in IEEE/Springer International Conferences, 16 papers in international conferences and 4 papers in National conferences. Received 3 best paper awards for his international papers and also been invited as a guest speaker to talk on latest IT trends in many colleges. He works in the area of Information Retrieval, Semantic web and BigData and has submitted his thesis for PhD in computer science in Bharathiar University. Besides his academic engagement, he is also currently working on a Research project from VGST, Karnataka State Government under KFIST Level-2 scheme for 40 Lakhs.
